Do your Blogs
As a new student in Business Writing I will start by saying that you should stay ontop of your assignements since it is not hard to do for the class. If you have Professor Rogers she is kind enough to send out weekly reminders on what is due and when. I suggest that you save these email so that you dont forget an assignement. Also I recommend that you do you weekly Blog post before the weekend. I unfortunatly missed several blogs becuase I had been either away that weekend or partying the night before and forgot completley about it.

Ethical Decisions
Ethical Lapses in the work place can be subserviently distracting and job preventing to many workers. This study exemplifies that these actions can even occur as often as several times a week. People need to ultimately find a comfortable way of handling these situations be informing others and positively taking action.

Blogs stinks
The whole hypothetical idea of blogging is nice similar to communism. However in reality blogging I feel does not accomplish a whole lot. I even feel that blogging can be dangerous since anyone can read your stories at anytime. The main reason I do not like blogging is because I have to answer by a certain time. I think it would be better to set up blog topics and each person can complete them when they feel like, when the moments is right, when you have idea of something you would like to share about that blog topic assignment.

The Mock Interview Process
The mock interview was a good interviewing experience that I believe to be great practice. I enjoyed answering the practice questions as well as asking my own. I appreciated the suggestions for future interviews about doing research before the interview to come up with some good questions about the company. The interview was also good for making sure that my resume and cover letter were correct.

This weeknd I am excitied to be going on a road trip with my lacrosse team. We are playing Vanderbilt on Saturday and Tennesse on Sunday. This will be my first time traveling to TN. I am looking forward to seeing both schools and cities. I am also looking forward to playing well since I have been injured and hope that myy ankle is not a problem (knock on wood).
Possibly the best part of the weekend is that I will get to reunite with several of my Tennesse friends that I made while working and living out in Yellowstone. They are comming to my game and showoing me around Nashville.

prior interview knowledge
After reading three articles on preparation for interviews I have gained a knew profound knowledge on what to know ahead of time. The first article I read stressed the importance of being prepared for the hard possibly uncomfortable questions about yourself. These could range from what goals you have for yourself in the future, why you should be hired, and how much money you expect to make at that position. All of these questions can either harm or strengthen the interiew and are important to think of ahead of time. Be sure to know the avverage pay for that position and compare it with your hopes and previous pay. When asked about where you see yourself in the future talk about your morals and things that are important to you in your professional like.
The second article talked about how to properly handle illegal interviewing questions. Questions such as citizenship, age, and race fit this categorey. You can either answer the question if your comfortable, otherwise if it offends you, you should state that it does not seem relavent to the position you are interviewing for. Lastly there is a government organization that can help in illegl interviewing.
The third article was short and discussed important aspects of company's work environment. Aspects such as how employees are treated, the average week, and what can happen when someone makes a mistake. The best solution for this is to try to walk around and gain some insider info from present employees.

Mardi Gras
This past weekend my friend Jack and I road tripped to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. The weekend started off with a nine hour drive through Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi into Louisiana.
We arrived Friday night at nine thirty in up town New Orleans where we caught the first parade of many. The city was friendly and packed with people. The celebratory floats were massive and extensively decorated, each with a theme.
We stayed with Jack's friend Dan who lives in the French quarter of the city. It is truly an amazing city with beautiful buildings and wonderful weather. I loved how most old buildings had been restored and painted all different colors.
It is now Sunday and I am about to attend another day of parades and festivities. I can not wait until the Patriots and the Superbowl to come on.
It is for this reason that I was unable to access the teacher's website and read the proper assignment.
