This weeknd I am excitied to be going on a road trip with my lacrosse team. We are playing Vanderbilt on Saturday and Tennesse on Sunday. This will be my first time traveling to TN. I am looking forward to seeing both schools and cities. I am also looking forward to playing well since I have been injured and hope that myy ankle is not a problem (knock on wood).

Possibly the best part of the weekend is that I will get to reunite with several of my Tennesse friends that I made while working and living out in Yellowstone. They are comming to my game and showoing me around Nashville.

prior interview knowledge

After reading three articles on preparation for interviews I have gained a knew profound knowledge on what to know ahead of time. The first article I read stressed the importance of being prepared for the hard possibly uncomfortable questions about yourself. These could range from what goals you have for yourself in the future, why you should be hired, and how much money you expect to make at that position. All of these questions can either harm or strengthen the interiew and are important to think of ahead of time. Be sure to know the avverage pay for that position and compare it with your hopes and previous pay. When asked about where you see yourself in the future talk about your morals and things that are important to you in your professional like.

The second article talked about how to properly handle illegal interviewing questions. Questions such as citizenship, age, and race fit this categorey. You can either answer the question if your comfortable, otherwise if it offends you, you should state that it does not seem relavent to the position you are interviewing for. Lastly there is a government organization that can help in illegl interviewing.

The third article was short and discussed important aspects of company's work environment. Aspects such as how employees are treated, the average week, and what can happen when someone makes a mistake. The best solution for this is to try to walk around and gain some insider info from present employees.

Mardi Gras

This past weekend my friend Jack and I road tripped to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. The weekend started off with a nine hour drive through Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi into Louisiana.

We arrived Friday night at nine thirty in up town New Orleans where we caught the first parade of many. The city was friendly and packed with people. The celebratory floats were massive and extensively decorated, each with a theme.

We stayed with Jack's friend Dan who lives in the French quarter of the city. It is truly an amazing city with beautiful buildings and wonderful weather. I loved how most old buildings had been restored and painted all different colors.

It is now Sunday and I am about to attend another day of parades and festivities. I can not wait until the Patriots and the Superbowl to come on.

It is for this reason that I was unable to access the teacher's website and read the proper assignment.
